Diane Magill  - Private Instructor: Flute

Diane Magill received her Bachelor or Music Degree in Music Education and flute Performance in 1993 from the University of Cincinnati 's College-Conservatory of Music. Shortly thereafter, she became the flutist for School House Symphony, a six-piece ensemble that performs for children in their schools all over greater Cincinnati . For nearly five years she has also served as the groups main administrator.

 

She began teaching privately in 1994, and has been teaching at Moeller since 1995. She enjoys teaching and tries to give her students many positive performing opportunities including an annual recital in May. Diane is also part of the music ministry at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Montgomery where she met her husband, Pat Magill (saxophone teacher).

 

She freelances around town, working with several guitarists and Lyrica, a harp trio, which has recorded an album of English and Welsh folk tunes which was released in November of 2003.  The album is called Lyrica: The Crystal Spring and is available at www.Amazon.com and www.CDBaby.com.
